The international manufacturer of mechanical engineering components is teaming up with the development company CEMEC, the Mechatronic specialist for developments and precision manufacturing in Optomechanics and Aerospace Technology. The existing project-specific cooperation between the two companies is thus underpinned by corporate law.
The FATH Group plans to make extensive use of the specialized development expertise of the CEMEC Group for the creation of new products. “The participation in CEMEC allows us to meet the strongly increased market requirements for the development of complex, Mechatronic product systems even better in the future,” says Wido Fath, Managing Partner of the FATH Group, who will strengthen the management of CEMEC in the future.
CEMEC’s many years of experience in the integration of mechanics and electronics makes it possible to supplement FATH’s product offering with electronic product systems.
For CEMEC, which has made an international name for itself as a supplier for various projects of the European Space Agency (e.g. ´Space Mission Rosetta´, 2004-2016), the cooperation with FATH means an expansion of the production technologies offered. Martin Schwab, Managing Partner of CEMEC Intelligente Mechanik GmbH, emphasises: “The collaboration with the FATH Group gives us access to additional production capacities and various new manufacturing technologies, and enables the realization of synergies in the field of toolmaking”.
